If you’ve seen the news in the past few days then the likelihood is that you’ve seen the big news for UK drivers – police will soon be able to issue instant fines for drivers that are caught speeding, eating and drinking behind the wheel, talking on the phone, cutting other drivers up and parking where they should not be. This is going to have a huge impact on many people but it will have an even bigger one for those driving for a living, like taxi drivers for example.

Home Insurance Increases Hit 46%

Do you live in Dorking? If you do then the likelihood is that you were more than a little unhappy when your home insurance renewal premiums dropped on your door mat this year. A report on home insurance premiums recently revealed that the average rise in Dorking last year was from £119 to £174, or 46%. If there was a lot of crime, claims as a result of flooding or weather damage, or even issues with the housing there then this would be understandable.
