The whole of the UK is now pretty well aware that winter is here. The snow has been bringing various areas to a standstill over the last week or so and you would be forgiven for thinking that it is getting beyond a joke now. After all, it is twice in a year that snow has prevented people getting to work, backed up various services and generally effectively helped to make people suffer… especially drivers. I don’t know what the weather is like where you are but it’s unbelievably cold here right now. It got down to -8C overnight last night, which would not pose a problem for you if you were tucked up in a nice warm bed but it may cause problems if these temperatures persist for an extended period of time.
